Job Overview

We are looking for an IT Services Solution Architect for our headquarters located in Noordwijk, The Nethelands.
To be successful as a solution architect, you should be able to integrate any updated specifications and requirements into the systems architecture. An outstanding solution architect should be able to explain complex problems to management in layman’s terms.
The successful candidate will be integrated in the ICT managed service business unit as ICT Services solutions architect and will be tasked with, but not limited to:

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Support the existing IT Managed Services;
  • Support the Business development function;
  • Support existing Service Managers with innovative solutions to improve operations;
  • Assess the IT services architecture currently in place and work with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve it;
  • Support in the resolution of technical/organisation problems as they arise;
  • Research current and emerging technologies and propose changes where needed;
  • Assess current and perspective business cases and propose competitive solutions to address them;
  • Provide accurate cost estimate for perspective services solutions;
  • Provide competitive inside knowledge on strategic partnerships with other IT solution parties;
  • Support the Quality Management System of existing and perspective IT Managed Services;
  • Scout for innovative delivery solutions to implement unique selling strategies for ATG IT Managed Services;
  • Support the scouting of perspective new markets where to propose ATG IT Managed Services;
  • Support the preparation of ICT Services proposals as main contributor and coordinator of technical sections.

Requirements

Studies in ICT or any related field would be appreciated. Master Degree is an asset;
Training courses or certifications on Service Management, ITIL and possibly other standards;
At least 10 years’ experience in providing IT support services with various IT related requests in a medium/large size organisations with a minimum of 500 users;
At least 4 years’ experience in managing/coordinating ICT delivery services with large teams;
Sufficient working knowledge about different ICT Services covering at least: Service Desk; Desktop support (Microsoft/Apple); Back office support (Microsoft/Apple); Technical systems administration; High Performance Computing knowledge is an asset.
Experience in a structured, ISO 9000 certified and/or ITIL based information technology service environment;
Interest in Business ICT Infrastructure and solutions for collaboration, and the future of workplace (AR/VR);
Experience in running Operations, in particular Service Desks or User interfacing Services;
Extensive experience in end user support in general;
Customer focus and service orientation as well as highly effective interpersonal skills in dealing with demanding customers under high workload;
Teamwork and flexibility;
Commercial mindset;
Proficiency in both written and spoken English is necessary.
