Job Overview

ATG Europe Human Resources Team plays a key role in our company. We are a small international team of experienced human resources professionals, and we are looking for a new colleague who is passionate about working with people and making a positive impact in their lives while working in an open and transparent environment.

As a focal point for existing employees, you will be the interface on HR subjects between the ATG Europe, clients and colleagues mainly in The Netherlands, Germany and Spain, as well as the subject matter expert able to contribute to creating HR strategy and policies and to its remarkable implementation. By doing so, you will be able to directly create an excellent employee experience throughout the employee life cycle.
The position may be either based in Noordwijk, The Netherlands or in Barcelona, Spain.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Onboarding: you will be a focal point for employees and make sure they start their career in ATG Europe in the best possible way by preparing their contract and answering any questions or doubts they may have with respect to working conditions or settling in the new role by initiating the requests for visas and residence permits, arranging fiscal benefits for “highly skilled migrants” where applicable, assisting with relocation and housing, company and health insurances, etc.
  • During employment: you will be a focal point for employee’s time registration and management of absences such as annual leave, long-term sick leave or similar, remuneration and salary mutations, performance reviews, promotion and yearly salary reviews, etc. You will also be the person to go to for any exceptional requests, reviews or even just a piece of HR advice. ATG Europe is a place where growth happens through learning, and you will be the focal point for helping employees with their training requests and thus directly contributing to their professional development. You will also oversee organizing ATG Events.
  • Offboarding: you will be a focal point for employees once they decide to leave the company whereby you will ensure smooth separation, exit interviews, leave balances, etc.

Requirements

Ideally, you should have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience in the field of Human Resources, in particular in administration of benefits, onboarding, evaluation, training and development, absences, etc.
We are an international company and our working language is English, so you should be proficient in both, written and spoken form. Other languages such as Spanish, German, French, Italian, Dutch are a great asset.
Because we are open for the candidates to work remotely from Spain, you should be ideally fluent in Spanish and be knowledgeable about the Spanish Labour Law. If based in The Netherlands, it would be amazing if you would also be familiar with the Dutch Labour Law.
You should be flexible and able to adapt to change and work under pressure when busy times come. We support each other however, your positive attitude and an open communication are crucial here.
You should be eligible to work in the EU and in particular in The Netherlands or Spain as this is where the position may be based. If your place of residence is not within the commuting distance from the office, you may be eligible to a relocation support depending on your personal situation.
You should be someone who enjoys working in a multi-cultural environment and has excellent interpersonal skills.
You should have an excellent attention to details and a high standard in terms of quality of output as we are all about quality over quantity. We really care about what we produce, and we help each other ensure quality of output but, it starts with you.
You should be an amazing team player as our team work is based on great values such as integrity, ethics, inclusivity, trust, respect, collaboration, open communication and (lots of) learning, among others. 
You should be good at working with multiple tasks at the time, especially when the deadlines are tight. Prioritization and good planning are important here in addition to taking initiative and working independently.
It would be nice if you had experience in payroll administration experience, ideally in Visma but it may be in any other ERP such as SAP, etc. 
We work with Office 365 so it would be great if you were proficient.
You should have at least a rudimentary sense of humour.
