    For one of our main customers ESA/ESOC. We are currently looking for a Database Administration Service for the Maintenance of the Planning, Forecasting and Management System in OPS-BCat ESOC located in Darmstadt, Germany.

For one of our main customers ESA/ESOC. We are currently looking for a Database Administration Service for the Maintenance of the Planning, Forecasting and Management System in OPS-BCat ESOC located in Darmstadt, Germany.


Tasks & Responsibilities

  • The Service shall include the maintenance, evolution, availability and accessibility to the OPS directorate ERP tool used for Planning, Forecasting and Managing the resources of the directorate, and all relevant data;
  • As a helpdesk function, it shall provide adequate support and training to the end users;
  • The OPS directorate ERP system comes as complement to existing corporate systems. It interacts with, offering and providing, the OPS business specific functionalities needed to suitably support the OPS directorates resources management processes;
  • As such, the OPS directorate ERP system is subject to evolve, following changes and improvements brought into corporate systems and resource management processes;
  • The current OPS directorate ERP legacy system is named PFMS, standing for Planning, Forecasting and Management System;
  • The todays OPS ERP system and applications include;
  • servers (prime and backup);
  • the client application (on the users PC interacting with the server);
  • a state of the art WEB interface as a technical evolution of the client application;
  • the DASHBOARD (a service for accessing and reporting data);
  • ad-hoc smaller tools or templates (for functionalities best implemented in external tools, most excel).

Requirements

  • University degree (Bachelor) from a recognized institution of secondary studies;
  • Proficiency in the English language, both written and spoken;
  • For site-specific functions fluent knowledge of German is mandatory;
