Job overview

The location for this position is on one of the major sites of our client in Southern Germany. Our client is one of the key players in the European satellite and launcher industries. At this site around 2500 people are employed, working on space and defense projects. The space division is specialized in Earth Observation, Navigation and Science.


Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Revision and optimization of existing harness designs planning documents;
  • Preparation of Harness AIT requirement documentation, Harness integration and test plans, as well as integration regulations and integration reports;
  • Application of relevant programs for harness design and harness planning as well as of test tools in the AIT independent design of AIT test harness;
  • Creation of production and test documents independent processing of the Harness AIT (preparation and execution) in space projects;
  • Test harness integration and check-out in satellite assemblies and structures according to customer-oriented requirements independent support of test harness suppliers for space projects over the project period as well as their support in the overall harness integration at satellite level;
  • Independent support of Harness / Test Harness subcontractors as well as the technical acceptance of the ordered products;
  • Cooperation with the other Airbus sites and European subcontractors;
  • Collaboration in test campaigns in Germany and abroad.

Requirements

  • Teamwork, social skills and communication skills;
  • High quality awareness as well as a strong spatial imagination;
  • Quick comprehension and analytical thinking;
  • High degree of commitment and readiness to learn as well as the own initiative and the readiness, independentlyto work;
  • Experience in the context of harness manufacturing, their processing tools and the Production control desirable;
  • Experience with the acquisition and representation of measured values by means of a user software;
  • Experience in the field of measuring technology (mechanical / electrical);
  • Experience in mechanical satellite integration as well as knowledge of standard procedures in the aerospace industry desirable.
