For one of our customers we are currently recruiting aTelephony, Videoconference and Network Technicianfor multiple locations in Spain.


Tasks & Responsibilities

  • 1. Telephony (Alcatel-Lucent):;
  • - Patching PBX (patching cables between PBX and patch panel);
  • - Supporting analogue lines currently present at Site not passing through the PABX and ISDN lines;
  • - On-site stock management- patch cords, connectors, PBX line;
  • - Local dial DB update;
  • - Ticket management;
  • - Troubleshooting aimed to fix incidents/issues;
  • - Add / Moves / Remove extensions and related cabling on PABX side;
  • - Configuration of group / hunt group and chief/secretary phone setups;
  • - Extension and Voice-Mail Configuration on PBX;
  • - PABX cabling patching;
  • 2. Videoconference (Polycom):;
  • - Local Support for VC Endpoint Devices (Centrally managed);
  • - Support for Back-End infrastructure activities that cannot be performed remotely;
  • - Check physical connection (power network);
  • - Physical Hard reboots;
  • - Manage on-site Spare VC equipment and deployment;
  • - Inventory Management limited to providing asset information to the central team;
  • 3. LAN (Cisco):;
  • - Service Request activities related to LAN devices (installation. Move, replacement, decommission);
  • - Patching between LAN devices;
  • - Switches/Routers rack mounting and powering;
  • - Support to Local surveys when required;
  • 4. Wireless LAN (Cisco):;
  • - Move, Add, Change of ceiling-mounted Access Points.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate shall have at least 2 years hands-on experience in ICT/Networking;
  • Good knowledge of wired and wireless networking, knowledge of data-center related activities;
  • Experience in Video Conference and analogue/digital Telephony;
  • Experience with Cisco devices;
  • Proactive and customer-focused mind-set;
  • Work experience in an international environment is considered an advantage;
  • Fluent English is mandatory;
  • Willingness to occasionally work outside regular office hours and availability to go on business trips;
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in EU.
