    For one of our main customers ESA/ESAC, we are currently looking for an IT Support Technician toprovide support on site at ESAC in Madrid Spain.

For one of our main customers ESA/ESAC, we are currently looking for an IT Support Technician toprovide support on site at ESAC in Madrid Spain.


Tasks & Responsibilities

  • In this role, your responsibilities will be mainly 1st and 2nd level call resolution (on location and/or remotely) in the following areas:1) Windows OS based client devices (Windows 7, Windows 10);
  • 2) Mac OS based client devices;
  • 3) Mobile phones and smartphones;
  • 4) IBM Notes;
  • 5) Network and local printing facilities;
  • 6) Specific Corporate Applications;
  • 7) 1st line networking (LAN, WiFi);
  • 8) Approved client applications (i.e. SAP, Adobe, MS Office, Encryption tools, etc.).

Requirements

  • Providing 1st and 2nd line support in the areas described above;
  • Evaluating, categorizing, logging users requests, problems and pro-actively follow up these requests to ensure timely resolution of the delivery and deployment of new workstations (PCs / laptops) and maintenance and replacement of existing workstations, as well as other systems like mobile devices and printers;
  • Maintain, update and integrate Knowledge Base DB, procedures and working instructions;
  • Assisting and advising the user community in the technical and functional use of the Clients Corporate services and applications;
  • Excellent communication skills (written, interpersonal, negotiation and telephone communications) are crucial;
  • Sense of initiative and ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • Proactive attitude to solving problems;
  • Service orientation;
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in EU;
  • A very good working knowledge of spoken and written English is essential.
